ISPF (Interactive Rules Productivity Facility) occurs as convienence placed for the IBM z/OS (MVS, OS/390) operating system for mainframe computers. It includes the screen editor, the interface of which was emulated by a bit of pc editors sold commercially in the late 1980s.
